Achieve spiritual and uplifting growth.
We are not only called to believe in Jesus, but we are called to be like Jesus.
Who We Are
MakingDisciples.Today is a dynamic community comprised of pastors, ministers, educators, community members, and faithful followers of Christ, united in a commitment to living a life that reflects the character of Jesus. Inspired by His words in John 13:15, “I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you,” we seek to reflect His example in every aspect of our lives.
By obeying the Great Commission, we strive to be a light in the world, manifesting the love, humility, and truth of Christ. Our mission is not only to follow Him faithfully but also to inspire others to do the same, cultivating a community where discipleship is lived, shared, and multiplied.
The Commission: Jesus instructs his disciples, saying, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” Matthew 28:19-20 NIV
The purpose: This passage is considered a fundamental call to the church, and a central part of its purpose is to proclaim the message of Jesus and establish a spiritual kingdom of faith.
Its meaning: It is a key divine mandate that has been interpreted as an exhortation for every believer to participate in evangelism and discipleship.
The promise: The passage concludes with Jesus’ promise: “And I will be with you always, to the very end of the age.”
